Large UK organisations who have consulted her on their ‘stress management’ policies have included the Metropolitan Police, the Ministry of Defence Police, Chase Manhattan Bank and Unilever.  Her many speaking engagements have included presentations for the Cheltenham Science Festival, BT, Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, the Winnicott Clinic of Psychotherapy, the Words by the Water Literary Festival, the Battle of Ideas, the Maverick Club, North East Adult Community College and the Local Government Management Board.

Her book The Truth About Stress based on her UEA/CERM meta-analysis of the clinical literature was shortlisted for the 2007 MIND Book of the Year Award
